In the Tyrolean Oberinntal valley, the Inn Cycle Path passes the picturesque natural scenery with the striking mountain ranges of the Lechtal and Ötztal Alps. The historic small town of Imst at the foot of the Muttekopf summit (2,774 m) is worth seeing and well-known for its ancient customs. Climbers and cyclists regularly participate here in international competitions. In Imst, the Via Claudia Augusta in the direction of the Fernpass and the cycle route into the Pitztal valley branch off.
