The two monumental towers of Gars Abbey`s former monastery church are still the defining feature of the townscape. Notable sights include the parish and monastery church of the Assumption of Mary and St. Radegundis, the plant nursery and the monastery`s herb garden, laid out in typical medieval style. The abbey café gives visitors the chance to soak in the picturesque ambience of the baroque inner courtyard while enjoying a slice of cake, freshly made on site.
