The Inn Cycle Path in Tyrol

Once past the Swiss border, the cycle path leads downhill, occasionally on the road for short distances. Starting in Landeck, the valley widens, and the cycle path becomes mostly flat. It leads on cycle paths and agricultural roads through numerous places, past various sights, and attractions, always guided by the impressive Tyrolean Mountains to Kufstein.

A lot of the side valleys that lead into the Inntal are accessible by cycle paths - a detour pays off. In this way, practically the whole of Tyrol can be experienced: the well-known Tyrolean inn culture, architecturally interesting buildings and village centres, traditions, folklore, the summits of the mountains and much more is waiting for you along the cycle path. The impressive Kufstein Fortress then shows the way to Bavaria.

Tyrol - the Heart of the Alps

Tyrol is known for its mountains. More than 500 peaks over 3,000 metres, and over 600 glaciers: the alpine living worlds in the countless valleys fascinate visitors repeatedly. There are countless possibilities to find a place for yourself in these mountains - suited to your individual needs. The landscape affects the spirit and the lived traditions that are skilfully combined with modern elements reflect the permanent adaptation of the locals to a nature whose whims they have learned to deal with.

Typical for Tyrol is, for example, Landeck, the old court seat of the counts, or Hall, the salt and mint town, or Rattenberg, the smallest city in Austria. The state capital Innsbruck - the Alpine metropolis, enchants with its historical treasures as well as with its modern buildings. Schwaz, the silver town with its exhibition mine, and Kufstein, the pearl on the Inn, with its majestic fortress. Foodies will be thrilled by the traditional alpine cuisine. The numerous Tyrolean inns guarantee the best culinary delights and Tyrolean hospitality.
